Last night was the first show of the ninth series and Big Brother pulled in an audience of 5.4 million people. Me being one of them. Last year’s launch show pulled in 6.2 million viewers. But this year I am sure that the ratings will go up because of the 16 housemates that they have in there, so of them are mad.

All 16 housemates are competing to win the show’s £100,000 top prize. But who will be the winner?

The first four contestants who entered that house were immediately called into the diary room by Big Brother and given the first task of the new series. They were told that Mario and Stephanie had to pretend that they were a couple. In a twist at the end of the show, Davina McCall said that Mario and Stephanie would be told they must get married on air. What they would not be told was that the wedding would not be real. I can’t wait.

Hopefully Big Brother 9 will be better than the previous ones, but we will see.
