On Sunday The Coral are to headline at Lounge on the Farm, performing an exclusive acoustic set of their greatest hits. The Coral have spent the best part of 2007 playing some high profile gigs including all the major festivals. Lounge On The Farm returns for its third consecutive event this year and the festivities will be taking place at Merton Farm near Canterbury. Bands and DJs perform across six stages.

According to reports the Bands playing this year include Lightspeed Champion, Mystery Jets, Polar Bear, Los Campesinos!, Art Brut, Black Kids, Pete Molinari, and Wild Billy Childish.

At this event there will be attractions including The Village Green with ciders, beers and food concessions where all the goods are sourced from within a 20 mile radius of the site, a solar cinema, and the Little Lounge and Red Tent to keep the younger crowd occupied.

The festival runs from the 11th July to the 13th and the site is open for campers from Friday 9am until the Monday at 1pm.
