The Fight between Kimbo Slice and James Thompson took place last night in Newark and it was Kimbo who stopped James in the third round. Brett Rogers who is a Heavy weight took the podium during the press conference and called Kimbo’s performance “garbage” and said it was “unacceptable” to give that to the fans.
It’s said that Kimbo was not there at the time but he did show up later and the press asked Brett to elaborate on what he meant. Brett was much clearer this time, and said that Kimbo tapped out when James had him down on the ground during the second round of their match. Kimbo asked Brett if that was a challenge and, as you can see from the photo above, things got heated. The two men were kept apart but it was a good three or four minutes before things cooled down and Kimbo left.
Promoter Gary Shaw said the next CBS show would be in August at the earliest.

kimbo rock that bitch u racist fuck say that to his face thought so, that fireman fights was lame and people kept interfering with the fights, so stfu who made it pro and who dint little pussie, kimbo controlled that fight taking down that guy 4 or 5 times to try and get s sub- so what if he dint suceed if the other guy was good he would have gotten kimbo for his mistakes But it dint happen, kimbo rocked that bitch stfu u racist punk say it to his face.

I was all for Kimbo and from the Talbot fight I thought he was the Mike Tyson streetfighter of the MMA. I am sadly wrong and couldnt have been more disappointed in a fight. What a waste of air-time. Thompsons punches were like marshmellows, his left ear should have been drained before the fight, and from the very first time he got hit by KImbo he seemed to have been punch drunk. Thompson is not a challenging opponement and furthermore if Kimbo went up against a real grappler- he would be finished. Look for KIMBO TO BE KNOCKED OUT in the very near future. He was built up way too quick for some BS Internet fights and quite frankly it was a disgrace and a injustice to the fans and the sport. Once Kimbo Slice matches up with someone who is a true warrior, he will go out as fast as he came in. Thats reality.
