It has been reported that 21-year-old unemployed Karl Bishop, of Beaver Lodge, Carlton Road, Sidcup, appeared before Bexley Magistrates Court charged with murdering 18 year old Harry Potter actor Rob Knox. Karl has been remanded until the 2nd September.
In the early hours of Saturday morning Rob was stabbed to death in a fight outside the Metro Bar in Sidcup, south east London.
Rob who played Marcus Belby in the forthcoming Harry Potter film, is the 14th teenager to die violently in London this year. Rob’s parents Sally and Colin Knox, said they hoped his movie role would bring attention to the UK’s knife crime problem.
Colin described his son as “an angel on Earth without wings” and said he was a “very positive guy” who could turn his hand to anything. Colin said that “Rob touched many people’s lives. He was a happy, outgoing and fun person to be with. Rob always put everyone before himself and was always the first to stand up against wrong.”
A post-mortem showed Mr Knox died of internal bleeding as a result of stab injuries.
All out thoughts are with his family and friends right now.
Do you think that the new Harry Potter film should be dedicated to the star?
