Clydesdale Bank Launches Thames Gateway Team: financial expertise for businesses

May 26th, 2008 · No Comments · Email This

Clydesdale Bank has officially launched its dedicated Thames Gateway team, designed to provide financial expertise for businesses in the area stretching from Dartford in the west, through Medway and into Swale in the east. More than a hundred guests joined the new Thames Gateway team at a launch party held at Clydesdale Bank’s Financial Solutions Centre in Maidstone.

Paul Saunders, Managing Partner at Clydesdale Bank’s Financial Solutions Centre for Maidstone & Thames Gateway, said: “The team we have created has many years of experience in serving businesses in this area. “In five years time the Thames Gateway area will be unrecognisable from what it is now in terms of the business environment, thanks to the financial commitment being shown by the likes of Land Securities and government departments.

“In addition to this, Ebbsfleet International, which we visited during a recent tour of key development sites with John Salako, our local Chairman, is at the heart of the area’s changing profile. With rail travel times of only 17 minutes to and from St Pancras starting next year, it is clear that this area has the potential to be the next Canary Wharf and bring with it thousands of new jobs.”

The five strong team will be managed on a day-to-day basis by Jeremy Brett who was until recently a Senior Partner with RBS Corporate. He will work alongside two Business Partners: Gavin Coleman and Andy Bate, and two Associates, Jane Richards and Dianne Willett, who complete the team.
