Kipper the dog celebrated: Waterstones event at Westwood Cross

Do you remember Kipper? That dog created by Mick Inkpen who had many other friends loved by children all over the United Kingdom. To celebrate this wonderful character, at my local shopping centre (Westwood Cross), the Waterstones store has organized an event for children to have fun and remember Kipper. Children in their millions around the world have fallen in love with Kipper the delightful dog created by Mick Inkpen, his many friends included Tiger, Pig, Arnold and Jake. Staff at Waterstones, at Westwood Cross, are holding a special celebration on Saturday, May 31, to mark the cuddly character’s 18th birthday. Youngsters with an enthusiasm for the Kipper stories, or the popular Kipper television series, can to join in with a whole host of Kipper activities including games, colouring and word searches between 11am and 1pm.
