Drink driving is never good not matter how much you drink, but if you have had eight pints of strong lager then it’s a definite no. This was something WAYNE Middleton, 33, did not understand as after that much beer, he had a spectacular crash on Thanet Way. After running away from where he smashed his car into a barrier, he was shortly found by Kent police hiding nearby. The Thanet way has a 70 mile an hour speed limit, so add drink to that and you can understand why his Nissan Primera landed on its roof, he is lucky to be alive and in fact walked away unhurt.

The car crash happened near the Herne Bay turn-off of the Thanet Way. WAYNE Middleton was given a three-year driving ban for being over two-and-a-half times over the drink/drive limit. He also got a supervision order for 12-months, he will have to-do 200 hours unpaid work.
